In the words
of Rachel Zoe, "I Die" for anything Chinoiserie..."Literally,
DIE." Unfortunately, since I live with a man, I'm unable to adorn our
house with everything Chinoiserie, so I settle for a few pieces here and there.
I happened to pick up the latest issue of House Beautiful yesterday, and the
first thing that caught my eye was the gorgeous white lacquer coffee table
pictured on the cover.
Well, as fate
would have it, I was browsing through my local ReStore today, when I came
across this little gem.

$20.00, because it was missing its glass top. Obviously, I purchased it with no
hesitation, complete with a little pep in my step. Since I'm not a fan of
blonde wood (ironic, huh?), I would normally stain this piece a dark walnut
hue. However, I'm making an exception just this once. I will be painting this a
white lacquer finish, since I was so inspired by the following pictures...
